In order to enter into a Canadian university or college all international students must satisfy the university/college entrance or transfer requirements.  If you meet these requirements it may be possible to join, however all decision regarding student acceptance into degree or diploma programs is under the direction of the university/college admissions department. *Requirements may very from school to school and program to program.  Please contact us for more information

Acadia University:
Wolfville, Nova Scotia
Acadia University is mainly an undergraduate institution providing education based on the highest standards; a scholarly community that aims to ensure a broadening life experience for its students, faculty, and staff.

Acadia University is located about 100 km from of the provincial capital of Halifax, Nova Scotia in a small town called Wolfville. The small town setting and predominantly residential character encourage personal growth through close contacts with students and professors, through participation in intramural and intercollegiate activities, and through a variety of cultural programs. Acadia students form a close relationship with the small, safe, and friendly town of Wolfville.

Acadia is home to a diverse international community of 3,700 full-time students from over 60 countries. There are 11 residences on campus, which house over 1,600 students. The faculty/student ratio is 17:1, and classes are small, interactive and conducted in state-of-the-art learning environments. Acadia annually offers more than $2.5 million in scholarships, bursaries and awards. There are over 200 degree combinations from the Faculty of Arts, Pure and Applied Science, Professional Studies and Theology.

Acadia has embarked on the next evolution in learning through The Acadia Advantage, an academic initiative led by committed faculty, which integrates the use of notebook computers into the undergraduate curriculum. Acadia's students receive DellTM LatitudeTM D600 computers for their use as an integral part of their learning experience during the academic year. Students can connect to the Internet from any location on campus to download class notes, participate in chat groups or e-mail professors. This unique undertaking enhances the university's teaching and learning.

Wolfville:
Is a small, safe town of 6000 people. The area is famous for its natural beauty (beaches, lakes and rivers), delicious foods (apples, wine, seafood), and outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, rafting). In 2002, Wolfville was voted one of Canada’s 10 prettiest towns by Harrowsmith Country Life Magazine.

With roughly 800 students, NSAC has one of the lowest student-professor ratios around-yet we rank near the top of all Canadian Universities in research intensity. We offer an internationally respected education in agriculture and the life sciences, including diploma programs, undergraduate and post-graduate degrees-and we manage to do it with one of the lowest tuition fees in the country. NSAC is located just outside the Town of Truro, in the the village of Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. We're one hour from Halifax by car and only 40 minutes from the Halifax International Airport. NSAC is about one day's car ride from New York City, Toronto or Montreal. NSAC offers educational and training options for all kinds of learners. You can pursue studies at the undergraduate or graduate levels, earn a technician or technology diploma, enroll in a course or two through Continuing Education, or take advantage of distance learning opportunities.
